![]() ![]() Rafe seems alright but I would love to have a female YA character say 'Go away dude, I have the world's best boyfriend so go take your sparkly eyes and hot bod to some other chick.' What I mean is Violet is awesome, Jay is sexy, and Rafe better not get involved. I love that certain characters have developed but I don't want any steps back here. ![]() Violet and Jay don't get into any stupid fights like in Desires of the Dead (Cause their fight really bugged me) Jay takes his pants off (Where am I going with this?) Rafe hits on Vi but she doesn't even give him the time of day And I honestly don't want this to happen! JAY + VIOLET! They're perfect! Let them stay together! I don't like Rafe because I have a feeling Kimberly Derting's going to pull a Twilight and throw in a love triangle. Okay, one particularly specific issue in mind: Even though I'm so incredibly excited for this book to come out, I've got a few issues that I'm worrying about. ![]() ![]() ![]() Morris fails us in the final 20 pages! I feel as cheated (controversally so) as when I read Shrine by James Herbert. There is an underlying climax to the stoyline, which steadily builds throughout the novel, as the reader braces themself for the dramatic ending.and then alas, Mr. ![]() A plot carefully taken from ideas in movies such as Assult on Precint 13 and Dawn Of The Dead with a definite Clive Barker fantasy/horror style, this novel held me gripped from the beginning. ![]() After the first hundred pages or so, I got completly absorbed into the novel, reluctant to put it down even for a minute. Morris has found himself a happy medium between a Hutson novel, a Barker novel and maybe even a hint of Herbert. Following his recommendation, I bought myself a copy of The Secret of Anatomy and dived straight in. Having heard about the author Mark Morris through the incredibaly talented Clive Barker, I was indeed intrigued. ![]() ![]() So- I acquired “When He Was Nugatory” (Publication 6- Francesca’s Story) in addition to “It stays in His Kiss” (Publication 7- Hyacinth’s Story). This has to do with the craziest posting mistake I’ve seen. This isn’t an analysis on the Bridgerton books themselves (if you happen to just like the earlier books or the Netflix program, you may most certainly like these additionally). ![]() |
